5SOS concert

SUP, EVERYBODY! Oh my gosh, it’s been so FREAKING long since we write something! And we’re truly sorry for abandoning y’all. But, we’re back now, and readier than ever. Today’s post is going to be about some people we absolutely adore. Yes, we’re talking about 4 weird Aussies: 5 SECONDS OF SUMMER! WOO-HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *celebratory dance*
Yeah, we were trying to pull an "Ashton Irwin"
On October 8th, we went to 5SOS’ concert and it was PRETTY DUCKING AWESOME! It was at Mexico City’s Teatro Metropolitan. The boys named this couple of shows “VIVA 5SOS” and the setlist was really amazeballs. Here it is:

RIP THE NAMELESS BLOG! It’s a really nice setlist, right? We were literally dying in every single song they played.

If you don’t know it already, we’re massive fans of these boys, so it was a really nice experience for us. Well, all concerts are nice experiences, but WHATEVA, we really enjoyed this show. And, despite we were some of the oldest people at the venue, we let our inner fangirl to enjoy every single minute. Like, we were freaking luminous people in there. Not even kidding, we were wearing lots of fluorescent stuff in our bodies. Sorry not sorry. It worked, tho, the boys stared at us a lot, hahaha. You can even spot us in other dudes & dudettes’ pics or videos! Seriously, we’re in 5SOS’ stage manager’s photo. TEAM NO SHAME!
TURN UP

We recorded pretty much the whole show, so if you wanna check it out, we’ll leave you the links to the videos (just click on the songs included in the setlist). We also took some pre-show, show and post-show pics, which of course, we’re sharing with you, peeps.

We were so damn close to them, we were in the 8th row! We can’t even express our feels in words, it’s impossible. But here are some highlights from that glorious night:
TOO DAMN CLOSE
  • This actually happened before the concert. We got there like 4 hours earlier and we could hear something coming from inside the venue. So, we stayed outside the exit door and listened to 5 Seconds Of Summer’s soundcheck. There were barely like 10 girls listening, including us, and it was incredible. The first song was “Heartache On The Big Screen”, so it holds a special place in our hearts now, followed by “Kiss Me Kiss Me”, the feels.
  • Michael Clifford reading our freaking sign. ASDFGHJKL. So, there was this moment when Mikey asked everyone to put their signs up and well, after finally reacting, we put up ours! To our surprise, he read it! We’re attaching the image down below. PLUS, Luke said it was slight inappropriate. Sorry, Mr. Luke Hemmings, but ‘ducking’ isn’t a bad word! WATCH IT HERE. ASDFGHJKL.
  • Ashton challenging the rest of the band to salsa dancing. This moment will be forever treasured. We witnessed Luke, Cal and Mikey’s attempt of salsa dancing and it was pretty damn hilarious. Just picture that, even Michael excused himself saying “that’s why I don’t dance”. Oh, also Ash said “MEXICO, ARE YOU READY?!” and we almost died because he pronounced ‘Mexico’ the way it sounds in Spanish. THE FEELS.
  • “American Idiot” cover. OMG. Not only are we fans of Green Day, but we absolutely love 5SOS’ version, so, it was a dream. Best part? The solos. Just listening to Calum’s solo is mind blowing. Like, ugh, bass. And then Ashton in the drums and freaking Luke and Michael in guitars. WE’RE NOT FUCKING OKAY.
  • Nope, don’t think we took like ten signs to the concert. Not at all, hahaha. But another highlight was when Luke read our sign to Calum and laughed. Actually, Luke read all of them. Asdfghjkl. And Michael read the one about tacos and mouthed ‘TACOS’ back to us. LIFE MADE.
  • When Michael changed the lyrics in “18” to ‘my mom still drives me to Mexico’ and in “Good Girls” to she can speak spanish, [...] but if you ask her she’ll say: I’M MEXICAN! and do do do do do Mexico City. Calum also changed lyrics in “Good Girls”: instead of saying but if you ask her she’ll say, he said MICHAEL, WHAT DOES SHE SAY? Oh, Jesus. Poor little Cal, he thought Michael wouldn’t make it to his mic bc he was too far away, lol.
  • The way instruments sounded in every song. MIND BLOWING.
  • HAHAHAHAHA. When Mike’s face was hit by a bra. Just. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
  • When Michael tried to speak Spanish and said “Dora La Explora habla espaƱol”. Calum did a better job when speaking Spanish when he introduced himself saying “Mi nombre es Calum”.
  • BASICALLY, ALL THE FREAKING SHOW IS A HIGHLIGHT.

The venue is so beautiful and the acoustic is on point. It’s the loudest show we’ve ever attended, no kidding. Our ears were still buzzing two days after the concert, we thought we were going deaf for life! No wonder why Michael can’t hear as good as he used to.
Post-concert photo lol

We still remember a girl screaming ‘OMG, THEY ARE REAL’, and yes, they are. And these four Aussies are the most genuine, talented, down-to-earth, good looking, and weirdest guys ever. They’re incredible human beings. We’ve got nothing else to say than “THANK YOU, 5SOS”.

So, after being MIA for nearly a month *oops*, we leave you with this super long post haha. But we enjoyed writing it and reminiscing that amazing concert! Don’t forget to show us some love on social media such as Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

Take care, internet people.

Thanks for reading!

Love you, x.

P.S. We hope Ashton gets better soon! Must’ve been all that guacamole. Hahaha. We love you Ash (like if he’d be reading this, hahaha).
