YouTubers Series: Marcus Butler

Hi, loves! It's Heck Yeah It's Monday again, yay! Continuing our YouTubers series, we bring to you a post about none other than, drumrolls please, MARCUS BUTLER!

Marcus is a YouTube celebrity and vlogger who joined YouTube 4 years ago, on 2010. Since then, he has been entertaining us with his brilliant & funny ideas and also his collaborations with other great YouTubers.

  

The video where he rapped celebrating he reached 1 million subscribers is probably our favorite one. We mean, who doesn't love guys who can rap?! Lol. Since we watched it, we like to call him Marky Butt Butt. And we might jam to that song every time we see each other. Like, not even joking. Is a pretty good jam for car journeys, totally recommended.

We absolutely love Marky Butt Butt, and here are the reasons why:

•  He's really funny. Like, we want a friendlike you, Marky.
• His videos where he impersonates girls are HILARIOUS, he even got a character named Margaret.
• He is British, and let's be honest, who doesn't love a boy with a British accent?
• He's friend with amazing YouTubers as Alfie Deyes (PointlessBlog), Zoe Sugg (Zoella), Joe Sugg (ThatcherJoe), Caspar Lee, Louise Watson (SprinkleOfGlitter), Jim Chapman, Tanya Burr, Tyler Oakley, Troye Sivan and maaaaany more.
• He's SO sweet to his girlfriend, Niomi Smart. They’re so cute and have a ship  name, Narcus. And yes, she’s the girl from the blog Lady Smart and she’s now on YouTube as Niomi Smart. We’ll write about her later, don’t worry.
• He is a healthy guy: he goes to the gym, eats super healthy, especially only organic food. We should follow his lifestyle, probably.

Only cool people have an online store and an app, so Marcus is not the exception. He recently relaunched his app (available for Android and IOS)! It's really fun, you can know a little bit more about him and you won't ever miss his new videos. Regarding the online store, you can find great shirts and beanies designed by him.

Need another reason to love Marcus? Well, he does not only has a YouTube channel where he posts really entertaining videos, but he has a second one for vlogging. He allows us to see a tiny little part of his life and the perks and whatsoever of being a YouTube star.

VidCon!!!!!

HECK YEAH, IT’S MONDAY! Hahaha. We hope you’re having a good day and that you enjoyed your weekend. We decided to talk about a little something called VidCon.

  

To anyone who doesn’t know what VidCon is, here’s the official site’s explanation:

“VidCon is for people who love online video. Independent creators, enablers, viewers and supporters of all kinds. The ways that we entertain, educate, share, and communicate are being revolutionized. The creators attending and on-stage at VidCon are central to that revolution. The best part is, we’re having the time of our lives doing it.”

So, yeah. It happened this weekend! We love YouTubers and we're so sad because we couldn't go. Every single YouTube star attended and we didn't! THE FEELS.

 YouTubers from all around the world was at VidCon meeting and greeting their beloved viewers and doing a lot of more stuff. VidCon was held at the Anaheim Convention Center. There were Community Panels and Industry Panels moderated and conformed by YouTubers and/or experts in different areas, like CEOs of famous companies. There were also Q&A sessions with different kinds of YouTubers.

  

Tons of viewers got to meet their favorite YouTubers at the signings. There were two types:  the traditional ones, where the well-known person is seated behind a table and no photos are allowed in order to speed up the process, and photo signings, where you could meet & greet them and a professional photographer would take your pic.  The Brits Zoe Sugg (Zoella), Joe Sugg (ThatcherJoe,) Alfie Deyes (PointlessBlog), Louise Watson (SprinkleofGlitter), Caspar Lee (Caspar) [he’s south african, so we don’t know why we’re putting him here hahahaha. He lives in London though], Marcus Buttler (MarcusButlerTv), Jim Chapman (j1myb0bba), Tanya Burr (pixi2woo), Jack & Finn Harries (JacksGap), Niomi Smart (niomismart), Louis Cole (FunForLouis) and Charlie McDonnell (charlieissocoollike) were part of the meet and greets. Other YouTubers also attended, like Troye Sivan (TroyeSivan18), Tyler Oakley (TylerOakley), Connor Franta (ConnorFranta), Bethany Mota (Mcbarbie07), Colleen Ballinger - Miranda Sings (mirandasings08), Alex G & Tiffany Alvord (AlexGMusic7 & Tiffany Alvord), The Fine Brothers (TheFineBros), Sandi (CutePolish), GloZell Simon - GloZell Green (glozell1), Joey Graceffa (JoeyGraceffa), Kingsley (ItsKingsleyBitch), Meghan Rienks (meghanrossette), Justine & Jenna Ezarik (iJustine & itsmejennae), John & Hank Green (vlogbrothers), Teala Dunn (Tealaxx2), Chris & Crawford Collins (Weeklychris & CrawfordCollins), Madilyn Bailey (MadilynBailey) and MANY MOOOOOORE!

  

VidCon also had Movie Nights. There were three different screenings for all the attendants, where they also could interact with YouTubers. They screened a surprise movie, Earth to Echo and The Fault in Our Stars.

  

Besides involving movies, VidCon had Festival Concerts, including the Kickoff Concert and the AwesomenessTV Concert, where people could listen to Cimorelli and Madilyn Bailey, among many others.

  

Sounds amazing, uh!? Well, it was. Hopefully, *fingers crossed*, we’ll be able to go someday and meet our faves! Because, let’s be honest, YouTubers really know how to brighten your day.

YouTubers series: Caspar Lee

WELCOME TO ANOTHER POST OF HECK HEAH, IT'S MONDAY! Today, we’re going to talk about our favorite South African who happens to be one of our favorite YouTubers: Caspar Lee. (Yes, in case you didn't know, he is South African).

How do we even begin to explain Caspar Lee? This amazing 20-year-old started with his YouTube channel in 2011 as DiCasp (from Director Caspar) when he was 16, and now has changes it just to Caspar and has over two million subscribers. Well done, Caspar Lee!

He was born in England, but moved to South Africa when he was a little boy. He lived there for a couple of years. He often gets teased by his YouTube friends because of not having a proper accent, poor him :(

He recently moved to LA and lived with a friend of his. Then, he moved to London, where he's currently living. He was Alfie Deyes' (PointlessBlog) roommate, but his current roommate is Joe Sugg from ThatcherJoe. He moving out led him to collaborate and make videos with well-known YouTubers like Zoe Sugg (Zoella), Joe Sugg (ThatcherJoe), Alfie Deyes (PointlessBlog), Marcus Buttler (MarcusButlerTv), Jim Chapman (j1mmyb0bba), Tanya Burr (Pixi2woo), Jack & Finn Harries (JacksGap), Louise Watson (Sprinkleofglitter), Troye Sivan (TroyeSivan18) and Tyler Oakley.

Caspar has a fun and really lovable personality plus a unique sense of humor and, trust us, you will crack up with laughter with every single video he uploads to his channel. We know we do. He comes up with the weirdest yet funniest ideas ever. Seriously, like, he has gone out to take selfies with strangers, he experiments with his sister and his sister's boyfriend, he has gone outside and reminded strangers they're beautiful, he makes videos with his little step niece & nephew (how cute is that?!), crazy and funny interviews with other YouTubers and so much more. Besides, he's quite good looking, we're not gonna lie. Wild & messy hair, funny accent, deep blue eyes, nice smile & body and that amazing sense of humor: you're gonna love him!

Thanks to his success on YouTube, he has participated in YouTube and social media festivals  where he pulls up a little show and meets fans, such as Playlist Live Orlando 2014, DigiFest UK, NYC & Toronto 2014 and more.

Fun fact about him: he's friends with Ashton Irwin, yes, from 5SOS. Ashton has appeared in some of Caspar's vlogs. In fact, Caspar tweeted Ashton today and it was about missing him. BROMANCE, ANYONE?! HAHAHAHA.
