The most magical place on Earth

Walt Disney World Resort is located in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. It opened its doors for the public in 1971. Four theme parks, 24 themed resort hotels, two water parks and various golf courses is what forms this amazing place. Pretty much like heaven!

The most popular thing about this resort is the theme parks, obviously. Each of them has a special theme and will explain them now, they’re listed in chronological order.

  • Magic Kingdom. It is the first-built park and it's divided in six themed lands. You can find the iconic Cinderella Castle over there and the whole place is awesome. With all the iconic attractions, like the ones of Mickey & Minnie Mouse, Peter Pan, Dumbo, Disney Princesses, etc., Magic Kingdom is the main theme park.
  • Epcot. Dedicated to international culture, human achievement and technological innovation, Epcot is the perfect place to have a little taste of the world. It is divided into two themed areas, Future World (technology & science) and World Showcase (permanent world’s fair). If you love traveling and/or techno & scientific stuff, you're gonna love Epcot.
  • Disney's Hollywood Studios. This park is dedicated to show business. It is divided into six themed areas, but, unlike the other parks, this one doesn't have a defined layout, it's more of a real motion picture studio. Mixing the Muppets, Star Wars, Toy Story, Little Mermaid, American Idol, Aerosmith, Jack Sparrow, the famous Tower of Terror and many more, Hollywood Studios feels like the perfect world.
  • Disney's Animal Kingdom. As the name says itself, the park’s theme is animals. With nature & animal themed roller coasters and attractions, lots of trees and animals, this is the perfect animal conservation park. Animal Kingdom is the second largest theme park around the world and it’s divided into seven different areas. There, you will find wild animals, dinosaurs, the Himalayas & Yeti in the Asia land, river rapids, the African village and the newest area, Pandora: The Land of Avatar. Sounds pretty cool, right?

And there are also two water parks. And they’re also kinda theme parks. DISNEY WORLD HAS EVERYTHING, WE WANNA MOVE THERE.

  • Disney's Typhoon Lagoon. Home of one of the world’s largest outdoor wave pools, this water park has as theme a beautiful tropical paradise destroyed by a typhoon. Nice, remind us of a warm summer.
  • Disney's Blizzard Beach. This park has all water heated areas, due to their melting ski resort theme. Warm pools in winter? Take us there already!

There’s even a wedding pavillion in freaking Disney World!!! Somebody please take us there :( We won’t cause a lot of trouble, we promise!

That’s it for this Travel Thursday, friends. Let us know what you think, we’ll love to hear from you! Reach us out on our social networks and all that jazz, we’ll definitely answer to you all.

Peace out, x.
