Six months later...

Hello, everyone. We’ve been MIA for six months now and that’s bad. So, an apology goes out to whoever reads our blog. WE ARE BACK ON TRACK, PEOPLE.

I basically thought about describing what we’ve done in these six loooooooong (not really) months, but I’ve got a shitty memory and, even if I remembered everything, this post would turn into a novel.

Now, I resume all of that into a few words. Suit yourself.

Birthdays. New friendships. Keeping old ones afloat. Watching (and obsessing over) series such as GG and PLL. Sickness. Road trips. Drama. School projects and homework. Parties. Uptown Funk. And all those amazing new songs.  Basketball games. Soccer matches. And baseball once in a while. Finals. Food. Vacations. Even more sickness. Transferring schools. Going to study abroad. Unrequited love. Graduations. Starbucks x1234567890987654321234567890. Band boys. Avengers, like a thousand times. Did I mention drama?

People say a picture is worth a thousand words, here you go. We're still alive.

A very important date: June 2nd. It was the blog’s first anniversary!!!!! I can’t believe we’ve been doing for a year now. It seems like yesterday when we were at Starbucks sippin’ on lattes and talking about this blog. I love writing and I adore doing this with my absolute soul sister. I couldn’t be happier. Here’s to many years, because the best is definitely YET to come (for the blog and both of us).

So, yeah. As I said before, we’re back. And with slight changes (as per usual). In case you haven’t noticed, I’m writing solo right now. Not because we’ve stopped being best friends and hate each other, but because we’ve took some decisions regarding the blog. From now on, we’ll write individual posts as well, ‘cause we have personal things to do and sometimes we can’t find the time to write something together. But this is our blog. So, we’ll keep writing stuff together. YAAAAAY.

That’s it for today. I’m speaking for both of us when I say that we’re glad start writing again.

Have a lovely day, friends. We love you.

(This is the part where I feel like writing “xoxo, Gossip Girl”, ‘cause ADDICTED TO GG)

PS. In case you're new to the blog, you need to know more about us. Here's the link

Goodbye, 2014. ♡ Hello, 2015!

Hello, peeps. How are you today? We truly hope the answer is “very good”. This year is almost over and we didn't want to miss the chance of writing a post about our 2014. LET’S GET THIS PARTY STARTED!

So, basically, we were able to learn a bunch of stuff this year. Yeah, we’re not talking about school, we’re talking about life. Hahaha, that sounds so deep. But it’s true. We’re going to list some of them.
  • There are some times when there’s nothing else you can do to make a person stay. So, if someone wants to be in your life, they will make an effort. If not, it’s their loss.
  • First impressions are overrated.
  • Making new friends isn’t always that hard. Give it a try!
  • Life is bittersweet, but you have to live it anyways, preferably with a smile on your face.
  • Nothing will happen or change unless you do something about it.
  • Friends are, indeed, the family you get to choose.
  • Never say never. And this is 100% true, life changes so quickly!
  • What’s meant to be, it will be.
  • Always be nice to everyone.
  • If you want something, you need to work hard for it! After all, hard work really pays off.

Of course, throughout this year, there were some pretty awesome moments for us. Here’s our list of highlights.
  • That afternoon at Starbucks when we decided to start this blog. It has been awesome to write all our posts and share a little part of our lives with you.
  • 5SOS concert, heck yes! At first, we were going to the concert only because our friend liked them. But, we ended up loving this amazing band and their music. So, it was freaking good to see them live. THEY SLAAAAAYED AS ALWAYS!
  • And, Michael ducking Clifford noticed us in the crowd. DEAD.
  • We made a lot of new friends that have become family to us.
  • We started our social service in order to graduate University and we met the most adorable kids ever.
  • Unexpected road trips. They were SO much fun!!!!
  • Gee got to meet the talented & handsome Daniel Radcliffe! OMG.
  • Our birthdays! We turned 19 this year. And, although this is/was our last year as teenagers, it was really great.
  • Oddie went to see The Wanted live, just a day after her birthday. Nathan didn’t come, tho :(
  • Our epic Christmas dinner/sleepover with our friends. Let’s put it this way, it got wild, pretty wild.
  • Reunited with some old friends, it’s always nice to see them and catch up.
  • We tried to start a YouTube channel. It was fun while it lasted hahaha.
  • Our University’s basketball team won the National Championship.

And, we couldn't write a New Year's post without our expectations and resolutions for 2015, right? So, here we go!
  • Be positive, ‘cause positivity leads to happiness.
  • Show people how much they mean to us.
  • Spend quality time with those who matter.
  • Do well in school (everyone wants this, right? hahaha)
  • Stay focused.
  • Enjoy every single moment.
  • We have some academic plans for this year, but this means parting ways for some time. So, we hope we make the best out of it and learn a lot.
  • Make this blog grow, ‘cause it’s our baby, hahaha.
  • Overcome distance and different time zones and stay friends.
  • Meet more amazing people.

That’s it for today, people. Again, thanks for everything, even if you’ve just read one post, it means a freaking lot to us. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We wish you nothing but the best for next year. May all your dreams and goals come true. Enjoy your family and friends. Remember that bad times always come, but we can overcome them if we stay strong and positive. We’ll always be here for you, people, don’t even doubt it. Trying times are not times to stop trying.

THE NAMELESS BLOG WISHES Y’ALL A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!

HERE’S TO 2015!

We love you to the moon and back, x.

Bros for life

Hi, everyone! Here you have us, again. As we told you before, since it’s winter break, we’re going to be around more often.

So, it wasn’t until a good friend of ours asked us something about our females friends, that we realized most of our friends are...guys. We were trying to count our female friends and we noticed that there were none. And it’s not that we don’t have girls as friends, it’s just that we don’t hang with them. All of our friends are studying abroad, so we don’t get to spend time with them. But trust us, there are great things about having a lot of male friends and we’re going to list them down for you.
     1. Different points of view.
We know, every single person has a different perspective on life & stuff. But, when you have boys as friends, you really get to see things and situations from a different side. And that’s nothing but great.

     2. They don’t take things too personal.
Great difference with girls. You can talk about pretty much everything and they will never take it too personal, so it’s always cool.
     3. They give amazing advice.
Due to the different points of view between girls and boys, they can always give you some great advice for almost every situation you’re living. Boys have a sensible side, believe it or not! When it comes to dating, which we don’t do ‘cause we are single as a dollar, we’ve got each other’s back and we’ve helped the boys prepare surprises for their girls (shout out to them, ‘cause they’re actually like the only girls we hang out with regularly).

     4. Did anyone say sports?
Apart from the fact that four of our closest buddies are basketball players and another one is really into soccer, it’s a lot of fun to watch sports with guys haha. They won’t cringe if you curse at the TV and discussing who’s the best team...well, that kind of talks get heated quickly.

     5. Videogames buddies.
Tbh, they’re the best people to play with. Hahaha. We get extremely competitive when we play with our friends and it gets interesting. Especially when we start screaming at each other.

     6. Guys say things straight forward.
If you look like a zombie, they will tell you. And there’s no reason why you should get offended. That’s the way they are, way too honest.

     7. Have you ever feel safe with someone? Well, that’s another plus.
Guys are really protective when it comes to the girls who happen to be their friends. And that’s really sweet. They’ll take care of you, no matter what.

     8. You’re always having fun.
Seriously, when we’re with them, we’re always laughing our hearts out.

     9. Basically, no girl drama.
Besides, if you’re like us and you don’t like things girls are supposed to like, they’re the perfect buddies.

     10. Food.
Again, if you’re like us and LOVE food, guys are always the answer. You can go with them to a lot of different places and just eat like there’s no tomorrow. TEAM NO SHAME.

     11. They are careless.
We mean, they won’t care if we don’t like the same music, movies, or stuff in general. They respect our point of views and tastes, and so do we, accepting everyone’s different.
     12. Boys will be boys AND girls will be girls.
At some point, boys tend to talk about things they’re likely to mention while hanging with other males. And us, girls, do exactly the same. So, when you feel really comfortable around certain people, you basically don’t care. That happens to us! If any of our friends mentions something about balls, dicks, sex and all that jazz, we don’t freak out or think it’s gross (‘cause we’re mature when we want to be), and if we drool over some guy’s abs, they don’t care. THEY ACTUALLY TEASE US FOR THE REST OF OUR LIVES. *sigh*

     13. BONUS POINT!
You can actually hit them and they won’t cry. Some of them like overreact and make a huge deal out of it (drama queens LOL), but they’re kidding. So, we can PLAYFULLY hit them, but we know they can hit us back. It sucks, ‘cause we’re not as strong as they are, but they wouldn’t harm us physically. Or at least not on purpose; we’ve been knocked down while playing soccer before, no biggie. But in all seriousness, violence is not good in any kind of relationship between humans, alright? It’s not okay.

Basically, if anyone ever tells you that friendships between boys and girls can’t happen, it’s utter bs. I can totally happen, look at us! And we’re not bashing girls, we know there are girls who do everything we’ve mentioned before.

We wanna give a shout out to our best friends! Thanks for putting up with us and all our craziness haha. Even though you’re always teasing and messing with us, we love you to death! (Awwww, aren’t we cheesy?) We miss you, dudes.

That’s it for this post. Do you have guys as friends? Let us know what it’s like for you in the comments down below.

Thanks for reading. Don't forget we've got social media, where you can get in touch with us.
Take care, until the next post. Love you, beautiful people!

Traveling with friends

Hello, peeps! It’s Travel Thursday and it’s been a week since the tragic event of the flight MH17. You’re all still on our prayers.
In some other topic, today we’re going to write about TRAVELING WITH FRIENDS! We totally wanna give it a try, someday. It sounds like a really funny thing to do. Because, you know, traveling with you family is really good and, yeah, it can be totally fun. But traveling with people around your same age and with the similar interest sound cool, right?

The great thing about traveling with friends is that you have things in common so you can all go to the club or a beach and just have a nice time.

We have made some little trips ourselves with our group of friends. The trips weren’t to the farest places, but we definitely had a good time. We have gone to Six Flags and have done some camps together. Told you, it wasn’t a big deal, but it was amazing!

And we’re definitely up to do some big trip with our good friends. In fact, when we were about to graduate from high school, we were planning a trip to Orlando. We were planning to go to all the theme parks and stuff at Disney World and Universal Studios. But by that time, not all of us were old enough, according to our parents :( Some of us were still 17, including Oddie. Therefore, we didn’t make that trip, after all. But we’re looking forward to go somewhere now we’re older.

Important thing! You don’t need a lot of money to have a fun trip with your friends. Road tripping is always an option and, in our point of view, it’s better! You can get to know each other a little better while being adventurous, great memories that can’t be replaced!

At the end, it’s the people who matters and not the place. Keep that in mind, guys.

This post has came to an end. But, see you tomorrow with a Food Friday post. Don’t forget you can leave us your thoughts here in the comments or via social media. We’d love to hear from you!

Love you, x.
