Germany FTW!

Hello, beautiful people!

Remember when we wrote our very first Sports Sunday post? We were saying how we weren't that excited for the World Cup and all that. But then, match after match, the World Cup feeling was growing inside us. Today we were SOOOO FREAKING EXCITED. We wanted Germany to win, not even gonna lie about it.

We think that the difference between Germany and the other teams, is that the Germans really worked as a team! They put the common goal above the individual ones and that made them the 2014 champions. Plus, they don't depend on one player, they really know how to play as a unit.

The goal was AMAZING. Götze, we love you, man. That always a hell of a goal. The minute 113 was glorious because of you, Mario Götze! And we suffer when Schweinsteiger was injured by Argentinian Sergio Agüero. Check it right here:

The sad part of this match was when the Argentina team suffered the loss. But it was even sadder when people was trying to greet some of the players and they were ignoring them.

So, that was it for this year’s World Cup. Anger, happiness, excitement, sadness, we all felt that throughout this past month. And the only thing left to say is, see you in Russia 2018!!!!!

And maybe this post isn't very long, but don't think that it is because we're not excited. It's because we're BEYOND excited and happy for Germany. We cannot put into words our excitement! If we put our feelings and excitement into words it would be something like this:

ASDFGHJKL HDIWKQNSKDOD JDKSLEMDNFHSOW NDNFYRUENWOAOFMGO PMDODO GÖTZE HAHWKDJD GÖTZE HSHSOWID ÖZIL HAHXIEHD SCHÜRRLE BAUSHSIS SCHWEINSTEIGER AHISGUSHIDBJD GÖTZE

Yeah, that'd be pretty much it. Hahaha.

We hope you enjoyed the World Cup as much as we did and that you’re ready for 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup! Trust us, if you’re not a big fan, you’ll get all excited and that anyway. IT'S GONNA BE MENTAL!

It's all from us on this Sports Sunday. Let's us know who you were rooting for in the comments down below. Also, remember you can stay in touch with us on social networks.

See ya, lovely people!

SOCCER... AGAIN

Well, hello everyone! Welcome to another Sports Sunday.

Of course we’re gonna write about the World Cup because, let’s be honest, is a pretty hot topic right now. So, Argentina beat Belgium, 1-0. Brazil defeated Colombia with a score of 2-1. Germany beat France with a 1-0. And, Costa Rica lost against Netherlands, 4-3 with penalty shoot-outs. This means we’re expecting a match between Brazil and Germany, and also a match between Argentina and Netherlands.

It’s been a week since Mexico lost against Netherlands, and people still think the referee was wrong and it wasn’t a penalty shoot-out for Robben. We know we still think that. And the mofo still stated he’s tired of being insulted and accused of faking faults. WELL, MR. ROBBEN, IF YOU’RE TIRED OF THAT, CUT THE SHOW! And FIFA, we don’t see the “fair play” in any of those games. Heads up, please!!!!

There are a lot of good teams that people never thought would make it this far, but they have! It shows us that there are no small teams, if they work hard in order to achieve their goals, they can do it!!!!

That is all for today, people. Don’t forget to share your thoughts with us via social media or in the comments don’t below.

Thank you and see ya later!

MEXICO SLAYS, MOTHAFLUFERS!

So, Sports Sunday has arrived again, you guys.

And we’re kinda sad and mad at the same time. Mexico just lost against Netherlands during the World Cup.  And we thought it was total mess. First of all, that referee was unbelievably blind and unfair. Like, Robben didn’t even deserve that shoot.

Everything was great for the Mexican team during the game’s first half, they didn’t score any goals, but they were playing amazingly good. At minute 48, Mexico scored their first goal. In the last 45 minutes (and more) of the match, tables turned against Mexico. Netherlands took advantage of Mexico’s mistakes and scored! The regulatory 90+ minutes were about to end with a draw and, as we mention before, the referee marked a penalty against Mexico. They scored it and, well, the rest is history...

In fact, there was a penalty in Netherlands’ favor that the referee didn’t notice. But Robben’s was not fair, clearly. He even admitted that it wasn’t true ‘cause he faked it and apologized. FIFA needs to do something about it! Fair play, uh? Excuse us, this is everything but fair.

Besides, we feel like Mexican team was not quite accepted in the World Cup. In all the matches, referees never seemed to be in Mexico’s favor. For example, in Mexico vs Cameroon two goals were annulled. LIKE, EXCUSE GIOVANI DOS SANTOS FOR SCORING TWO GOALS!!!

We’re in the 21st century, there’s a HUGE technological development nowadays and you’re telling us that FIFA doesn’t use it AT ALL!?!!!! It’s true though. They kind of use it, but when it’s needed, they refuse to do it. THEN, WHY THE HECK DO YOU HAVE TECHNOLOGY, FIFA PEOPLE?! USE IT!

So, yeah. After our little rant, we want to congratulate Mexico’s team. They gave us four intense games throughout the World Cup, made us cry and celebrate each goal! People all around the world were cheering for them and acknowledge how good they are! Just like singer/rapper Becky G said in a tweet “Mexico, pick your heads up. We played a hell of a World Cup”. Hands down to Guillermo Ochoa, goalkeeper, you’re definitely the man of this match and every other that you played. You’re truly one to always remember. And to the other players, keep your heads and chins up because the best is yet to come! Talented guys over here. We wish you all the best, guys, we know you can make it.

And, due to our looooooong rant post, this is gonna be the end of this Sports Sunday. We’re way too angry to keep writing… All because of that stupid referee :(

We’ll see you tomorrow with a Heck Yeah, It’s Monday! post. Love ya and have a nice day!

Peace out, x.

New emojis, World Cup and Basketball time

Hello! It's Sunday, people! And you know, we write about sports and whatever else comes to our minds. So, let's begin.

Sometimes it's just too hard to express ourselves with words, that's why emojis exist, thanks God. Earlier this week, it was announced that 250 new emojis will be released next month. TWO HUNDRED FIFTY MORE FREAKING EMOJIS. Hahaha, sorry for that. It’s just that we are very excited for the new emojis ‘cause we love using them. Let's be honest, who doesn’t?! We're true emojiliebers, we seriously overuse them in our conversations and tweets. There are some rumors flying around these super good news and people is hoping there will be tacos, frowning faces, middle fingers and more among the Unicode 7.0 update. There's already a list of the new emojis names in Emojipedia (yes, there is a website that's goes after this name) and the new images will be released there as they become available. It is said that the new emojis will be more diverse and there will be plenty emojis referring to the everyday life. GO EMOJIS!

Being totally honest, it’s inevitably hard not to talk about soccer when FIFA World Cup is plastered in every single thing and place you see. So, keeping up with it, it seems like the European teams are not having it this year, poor them. One of our personal faves, England, is out after losing against Uruguay. They still had hope after losing, because if Italy won against Costa Rica, they would have an opportunity of passing to the round of 16. But, that wasn’t the case and Costa Rica won. So, now they are officially out of the World Cup. Really sad. Another team that really let us down is the current world champion: Spain. We won’t really talk about it, but...what the hell were Piqué and Villa doing in the bench!?!?!?!?! No words. It was definitely something no one expected, but well, it has happened in the past, after France was the world’s champion and didn’t make it after first round. Our bets are on Germany, still rooting for them!!! Even if their match against Ghana was a tie. Well, the only thing we can do is wait. And as we write this, the match between USA and Portugal is happening. First, Portugal was winning   1-0, but they're 2-1 right now, with USA winning. This match jeopardizes Portugal's position in the World Cup. Good luck, Portugal! Also, Mexico and Brazil had a tied match, and everyone expected Mexico to lose against the 5-times-champion. But, Mexico’s archer, Memo Ochoa, did an amazing job.

Exactly a week ago, San Antonio Spurs won the NBA finals against Miami Heat. Yes, another let down ‘cause we were rooting for Heat, but life goes on. We're starting to think the ones who bring bad luck is us. Anyways, it was such an intense game, the NBA teams never cease to disappoint when it comes to good basketball.

So, this is it for this Sports Sunday & Emoji Sunday. Hope you like what you read. Don’t forget to stay in touch with us via social media, there are links in this blog’s homepage. Also, leave your comments down below :) we’d love to read and reply.

Have a nice day!

Being a fan ain't easy · World Cup

We're gonna start with the Tickets Sale Stress Sunday, lol. So, about two weeks ago 5 Seconds of Summer announced that they are coming to Mexico. AHHHHHH. Yep, that was our reaction. A friend and us are going to go and we're extremely excited about it.

We were signed up to their newsletter, and that’s why we were able to buy tickets in the fan pre-sale. And if we had to resume that day in one word, it would be: STRESS.

Lullie (our friend) and us agreed on meeting at Starbucks (yep, once again) and take our laptops in order to try and buy tickets for the concert. We arrived earlier, that meant we still had two hours to kill. We chatted about everything and anything, we couldn’t handle our excitement.

11 o’clock, and we were ready to buy them! Unfortunately, the pre-sale started late, approximately 15 minutes late. Saying that we were anxious is an understatement, to be honest. In our first try, we got amazing seats (B section), but the freaking ticket seller system didn’t let us buy them. WE TRIED. AND TRIED. AND TRIED. Tickets were sold out and we were on the verge of tears. We stayed as calm as we could and didn’t give up. That was the reason why we got two tix on section C (balcony).

Our problem was kind of solved, apart from the fact that we were still missing one ticket. There was going to be another pre-sale on Wednesday, so we kept our hopes up.

After stressing out all day, ‘cause the radio station didn’t help us by playing “She looks so perfect”, we realized we were lucky we had at least two tickets in the balcony.

Wednesday arrived, and to make a long story short, we bought three tickets. We were SO lucky and got three tickets in the 8th row. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

So, we were at Oddie’s place with five tickets and really happy. We had two sell the previous two in order to buy ours. So, we started offering them to other fans that were missing tickets.

A girl started hating on us just because we got our three seats together and were selling the other two!!!!! She said we were being rude and stuff like that. Like, excuse us for not keeping them to ourselves!!!!

We’ve noticed fans hating other fans just ‘cause they’ve got good tickets (or even tix far away from the stage) and stuff, claiming that they’re not true fans. Not to throw shade on anyone, but it doesn’t matter if you became a fan 2 years ago or yesterday, the most important thing is that you support Mikey, Ash, Luke and Cal because they are doing what they love-music- and that’s the best thing, they’ve said it themselves, so...

And now, in matter of Sports Sunday, there's nothing else going on than the World Cup. Yes, the World Cup.

At first, we weren't really excited for it. Like, we thought it was just one month of boring soccer. Or football in some countries. It all started with the very beginning of it: we didn't like that much the inaugural ceremony, to be honest. We found it a bit off and boring. Maybe it was because it was not that good, or maybe because nothing's gonna be the same after London 2012. We mean, that inaugural ceremony was AWESOME! Besides, Joseph Blatter and Dilma Rousseff didn't show off. And we understand it, people were going to be mean with them. But if you got an awful situation like that in your country, YOU DON'T DECIDE TO HAVE THE FREAKING WORLD CUP THERE!

Anyways... Later we got carried away with it, maybe waaay too carried away. We enjoyed the following matches to the inauguration; and now, well, you can say we're enjoying the World Cup a little bit more. For example, today's matches were pretty interesting. Hopefully, it will get a bit better every day.

Well, that's all for today, peeps. See y'all tomorrow with a Heck Yeah, It's Monday post. Remember to follow us in our social stuff and talk to us. We've got Twitter, Facebook and blah blah blah. You know that jazz :) The links to all our social media are in the homepage of the blog.
